Hi there! I'm Madeline Finkel.

After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and History, I moved to Manhattan to begin a career in television. I landed a job at Al Jazeera America where I worked from pre-network launch until the day it shut it's doors, three years later. This gave me the opportunity to join Al Jazeera Media Networks in DC. In early 2019, I joined the team at C-SPAN as a Program Director. Before the end of the year, I was offered the chance to return home to New Jersey and work for Fox News in NYC, where I am currently a freelance Technical Director.
I love to travel and learn about new places.
Hopping on a plane, or really any form of transportation, excites me so much. I have to sit in the window seat, where you'll find me smiling and giddy like a kid on Christmas. I often find myself daydreaming about where to go next.

My favorite place in the world, so far, is Ireland. I had the amazing opportunity to travel the entire island with my mom in the spring of 2017. Not only was she an amazing travel partner, but we were able to experience the land of our ancestors together.
Photography is by far my passion.

Although I have been taking photos since I was very young, I have been working hard on my skills the past few years. I want to share the world through my lens. I think my career has allowed me to expand on my knowledge of the camera and what makes a good photo.

I am building up my camera kit with help from shops all over the DC Metro area, and other photographers. Learning how to use my new camera, a Nikon D5600 has been a fun journey and I look forward to sharing what I capture with the world!
